Gold Blooded Wrestling Camp will be held at Arlington High School's main gym on July 26th and 27th, directed by Jonny Gilbertson, the head coach of Arlington High School. The camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with lunch included. Lance Palmer will serve as the camp clinician. The registration fee is $125, and the facility features full-size wrestling mats.
Lance Palmer:
High School: As Team Captain for St. Edward High School in Ohio, he led the #2 ranked team in the US during his senior year. He is a 4-time High School State Champion with a record of 150-6 and was the NHSCA Senior National Champion in 2006. He received the 2006 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award and was the Ohio State Duals MVP. He also became the Ironman National Champion and was selected for the 2006 HIGH SCHOOL All-AMERICA DREAM TEAM, ranking #1 by USA Wrestling at 140 lbs.
College: At Ohio State University, he was a 4-time D1 All-American and the 2010 Team Captain. He was a D1 National Finalist and won the Big 10 Conference Champion title, earning the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award after defeating Brent Metcalf. He triumphed over notable opponents like Olympic Gold Medalist Jordan Burroughs, NCAA Champion Frank Molinaro, and others. He was inducted into Ohio State University's Hall of Fame on June 16, 2020, for his collegiate wrestling achievements and later served as an Assistant Coach at Virginia Tech University.
Mixed Martial Arts: He is a 2-time Professional Fighters League (PFL) Featherweight World Champion (2018 & 2019) and a 2-time World Series of Fighting (WSOF) Featherweight World Champion (2014 & 2016).
