The Oregon State Wrestling Team Competition Camp is designed exclusively for whole teams and offers a comprehensive training experience for both coaches and wrestlers. This camp is led by our elite coaching staff and is tailored to improve the technical and tactical skills of your athletes, while also providing ample opportunities for live competition.
Each team will participate in daily technique sessions with our coaches and staff, followed by live dual meet competition. The goal is to provide your team with 6 matches and 2-4 hours of focused technique work each day. Teams will also be paired with a dedicated “team leader” from the Oregon State Wrestling Program (or an elite senior women’s wrestler for the women’s camp). Your team leader will guide you throughout the camp, offering expert coaching and personalized feedback after each dual meet in small group settings.
Coaches will benefit from daily education sessions covering vital topics like:
Yearly planning
Athlete nutrition
Strength and conditioning
Recovery techniques
Practice planning
Building a successful curriculum
Living a championship lifestyle
There will also be Q&A sessions where coaches and athletes can interact with our experienced staff to get advice and insights on developing a winning program.
